Description:
Student will provide front desk support in the Academic Advising/Career Center and Vice President for Student Affairs office by answering phones, scheduling appointments and greeting and assisting students, staff, faculty and other visitors on campus. Performs other administrative duties including photocopying. Assists with other tasks as needed including keeping front lobby neat. Hours will be determined based on your class schedule and obligations.
Qualifications:
Good communication and interpersonal skills and phone etiquette.
Must be able to understand and respect the need for confidentiality.
Must be dependable, reliable, and be on-time for designated work shifts.
Must be responsible, mature, neat in appearance and have a congenial personality.
Must be detail oriented and have the ability to work independently while completing assigned projects.
Must be able to be pleasant and function calmly in a high-paced, busy environment with multiple phone lines and a steady flow of students checking in for appointments.
Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, G-mail and Google docs is preferred.
Must be able to work during the summer months as needed from May 7 through August 24, 2018.
